Sammy Watkins out, Justin Houston active vs. Cardinals

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their inactives for their Week 10 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Here they are:

-S Eric Berry

-LB Frank Zombo

-C Mitch Morse

-OL Kahlil McKenzie

-WR Sammy Watkins

-DL Justin Hamilton

-DB Josh Shaw

Here are the Cardinals’ inactives:

-WR Chad Williams

-WR Kendall Wright

-S Eddie Pleasant

-OL Zack Golditch

-OL Mike Iupati

-OL Colby Gossett

-DL Robert Nkemdiche

Watkins logged just one practice this week, which was limited. If this was a more crucial game he’d likely play through the pain, but the Chiefs are being cautious with him so he’ll be healthy down the stretch.

The Chiefs get some good news on the injury front however as Justin Houston will play today. Houston has missed the last four weeks with a hamstring injury and should bolster the K.C. pass rush.

Also returning from injury is safety Daniel Sorensen, who has missed the entire season with a knee injury. He’ll look to knock off some rust and make some plays for the struggling Chiefs’ secondary.

No surprises for Arizona today as it comes to K.C. very healthy. Safety Budda Baker was questionable with a foot injury entering today but he will play. We’ll see if being at full health will give the Cardinals a shot at an upset victory.
